It's been two years since the last Spruke (Brisbane's Ukulele Festival), which means it's been about 2 years since I started this blog.
Last festival, I took part in the Uke Klass, where I built a ukulele, which was an amazing experience.
This festival, I participated in Spruke Art, where we decorated ukes provided by one of the festival sponsors, Morris Brothers.
Most of the group used Sharpies, however these didn't really show up on the black ukulele. Instead, I used acrylic marker pens (which required several coats), with marker over the top.
